I can tell you that it very likely isn't a moderator. I suppose it could be, but anyone can do it. It can be very annoying (of course, so can unnecessary shares).

It's irritating. There are shares which are absolutely worthwhile. And many others which are kind of noise. I don't like the noise, but there are times where the baby is thrown out with the bathwater. Because there are real gems out there.

its not the mods, I can tell you that. I have unshared a few based on the rules, but VERY few.
